One of my cousin took admission in B.Sc ( Hons) Economics highlighted that it is a mixture of conventional economics courses and modern day analytical tools. There are key points which are worth to be highlighted: 1. Capable of opening new opportunities especially for the students who wish to pursue a higher degree in the field of economics as it includes the subjects of economics starting from basics to the advanced one including the course on econometrics which is high in demand. 2. Education is imparted under semester system and or improved learning, emphasis is laid on Seminars and Case Based Teaching. 3.Now-a-days, the knowledge of statistical tools and its applicability is a highly required by big industries. This demand is fully kept in the mind when curriculum for the programme is designed. LPU provides the students with the following options: a. Core and Elective Courses b. Language and Communication Skills c. Open Minors d. Workshops and Seminar Courses 4. Last but not the least, Pathways are also floated which actually assist the student to achieve his/her dream. Three pathways such as Corporate Jobs, Government Jobs and Higher Studies are offered to the student in fourth term. More emphasis and hands on training through workshop on SPSS, Data Analysis, Excel Modelling, Computer Applications, etc. 5. As per my experience in LPU. LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. UMS is the best and main toll actually that is centralized one system for all Academic operations. Almost everything is online in the campus. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities.
