Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies.
I did MBA from LPU but I had few friends from CSE department,They used to discuss placements,academics,curriculum with me,Sometimes I used to visit their labs so I have idea about this course.

Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals.
The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. The course provides instil knowledge in the major areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Databases, Data Analytics, Web Development and Cloud Computing.
From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. CSE/IT students secured salary package of up to Rs 27.5 LPA and placement opportunities from companies like Amazon, Adobe, Bosch Engineering, VMware, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Kony India, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric India, HP India.Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. In my opinion, LPU is really best for B.tech CSE. LPUs develop drastically that enhances the opportunities for students in order to achieve their goals. LPU not only good for CSE but also for other courses. There are 250+ programmes in LPU Like, Diploma,UG degree, PG degree, Lateral entry, PhD programmes. LPU is renown for B.tech course as in this course LPU provides best placements, Faculty, Labs, Infrastructure etc.

Every year over a lakh students apply for this course but only a few thousands qualify. LPU is good for Computer Science Engineering as it has skilled and well-trained faculties.Engineering in LPU is considered to be the best course as compared to other courses that are available here.
