With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post-doctorates and 700 PHDs, LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the 1200 acre campus which is equipped with every machinery, equipment, and software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just, for example, more than 10 companies have established centres for excellence within the campus with their investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and a network to produce any title anytime! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays an important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centres, providing machinery and equipment, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Hi Rishabh, if you say academics, I will first talk to you about the faculty of LPU. The faculty of the department is a team of trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants also are equipped with academic excellence. Most of them have studied at reputed universities and institutions. They deserve to be the faculty hence they are at the dais. The academic and professional details about faculty are mentioned on the website. The teachers also act as mentors to the students. The students can call them and talk to them to get an answer to any academic or personal problem they feel stuck at. The faculty are engaged in higher learning and research work simultaneously. Such is the ambience of LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. LPU has over 2300 highly qualified faculty, and most of them are either Ph.D. or pursuing Ph.D. The faculty members give their best to make you understand the things in an easy approach. University takes utmost care and no chance in choosing qualified faculty members. Also, the University keeps on conducting regular Faculty Development Programs so that they can update the faculty members with the industry and the latest needs. As far as the curriculum is concerned, the syllabus gets updated by industry experts so that the demands of the industry are MET once students pass out from the university. This is very much helpful for students. The research oriented faculty members are very much dedicated to carrying out research work. They have many patents under their hood. The faculty members are awarded with projects worth crores by the central government. And foreign universities. And every year they get hundreds of research papers published which itself is an achievement. One unique thing about faculty is that at LPU if the students do not give good feedback of a particular teacher or not liking the way he teaches then they can report it to the head of the dept who reports the same to the head of school and finally the teacher gets replaced. Lovely Professional University is a good university to opt for. The university does not only have some of the best teachers on board but also provide a great learning environment. After my experiences at LPU, here is what I think about the university: Placements and Placement Mentoring Top recruiters such as Tech Mahindra, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, etc. Have visited the campus in recent years. Students have grabbed packages as high as 28 Lacs. Also, a great thing that I like about the university is that it provides placement mentoring to its students to prepare them well for the placement drives in future. Internships and industry immersion A commendable thing about the university is offering industry immersion to its students. It has collaborated with major companies for the same. In addition to this, students have gained on-site experience by interning in companies like Microsoft, Infosys, ISRO, Cognizant and many more. Centre for Professional Enhancement The centre helps the students to gain the relevant skill Sets required in the industry right now. Students gain inputs in terms of aptitude, verbal ability, logical reasoning, etc. Campus facilities The campus facilities are truly top-notch. I don't think students faced any trouble while they are on campus. The security measures are also tight on the campus for the safety of the students and staff. There is a hospital inside the campus premises with more than 20 doctors and nursing staff. The residential facilities are also good. Personally, I think the facilities offered on campus are just great. Academics Last but not the least, LPU is a good university academic wise. Students get to work on live projects here and add to their existing experience and skill. The guest lectures and workshops that take place here really help students expand their existing knowledge. LPU has maintained a great academic record over the years. It has faculty with sound educational background, teaching experience, research orientation, and industry exposure. The workshops and guest lectures that happen every now and then benefit the students. Also, students get the chance to do live projects at the university. Various opportunities for internships and industry immersion are also provided at LPU. Students also get placement mentoring which prepares them for the placement season. The university also has a Centre for Professional Enhancement (CPE) which helps the students in acquiring new skill Sets according to the ongoing industry demands. These students are able to get inputs based on aptitude, logical reasoning, soft skills, and verbal ability which is a part of the curriculum.

Dear Rishabh, Being alumni of LPU, my ratings would be based on my personal experience. For academics, I would give it a 9/10. I did my MBA from LPU only and the way the entire curriculum is designed, students will get to develop both theoretical and practical skills. All the subjects in any discipline are taught in a manner that all the students are prepared for the real jobs out there. Studying isn't only about attending lectures and submitting projects but about what's required in the corporate world. It is because of the live projects, the curriculum, and the training and internships that I was able to learn well about my chosen discipline and the kind of jobs there are in the market. Now let's talk about the faculty; the professors and lecturers are all experienced and have exceptional teaching skills. They are extremely helpful and are ready to help and support you even beyond the classes as well. The professors are friendly as well which makes them approachable. From time to time, there are guest lectures where industry experts impart industry-specific knowledge which is quite helpful. The teachers actually try their best to make you learn. They even prepare you for the placement drives. I would rate them 9/10. And now, let's get to the most important part, placements. Here I would rate it 10. The placement drives at LPU are successful and extremely efficient. Big brands such as Apple, Amazon, Air Vistara, Intel, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. Hire students during the placement drives. The packages and stipends for internships offered are great. I won't be quoting numbers here, but many of my friends were offered rewarding pay packages during the placement drive. Of course, the academic track record will play an important role here. The student with good academic performance will always have better chances of getting selected in a good company at a good pay package. If you are thinking of taking admission to LPU, rest assured, you will be giving your career a head start. Being an alumni I would like to answer this. I want to say that LPU is doing phenomenal work for the upliftment of the students and that could be justified through following: Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for them by the university. , Ministry of Science Technology Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. The syllabus is updated every 6 months which personally, It has separate lab facilities available for each course like robotics Lab, research lab, postgraduate lab, aviation lab, lab for fashion designing, advance kitchen lab etc. Faculty members are highly qualified, most of the faculty members have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, they have at least minimum of 5 years of experience and ample amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help, they are ready to help you out. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Some of the OTHER MAIN POINTS: faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. 1. LPU got the highest ranking according to Impact Ranking 2021 2. LPU is ranked No 2 among the Indian B schools in Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF. 3. Scholarships provide an opportunity for the students to earn an education. Of course, there are numerous students who are deserving and yes LPU would be the best platform for them which give them the way to attain their degree in much affordable way. 4. Unblemished placements records with more than 200 corporates which entails Asian Paints, Federal Banks, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moodys Analytics and so on are keep on recruiting maximum students on yearly basis. Being an alumni of Lovely Professional University I am feeling so excited in reviewing my own University ! I must say in all the parameters, Lovely Professional University is best ! LPU always designed the pedagogy of the courses based on Global standard only. During study in LPU for any of the course, student will never face any difficulty in understanding of any topic as they are guided by the highest qualified experienced Professors with systematic approach towards excellence. What I believe None of course is tough, if the student stay focused in the study. Definitely advanced Curriculum of the University (as per Industry Standard), Comprehensive rather systematic guidance by the experienced faculty & regular Industry oriented seminars / workshops matters a lot. The LPU's 6 storied central library is one of the major attractions of LPU. The library has Lacs of books in various subjects, and it helps students to clarify their subject related doubts. The library also has several magazines, journals, newspapers etc. So that students spend their recreation time by updating themselves with the latest happenings.
