How is LPU in terms of academics?

Hello there! I would like to share my experience as a student of LPU. When I was taking admission to LPU the same question was in my mind too. I researched a lot about LPU. Talked to my seniors and relatives, all I got was a good response. So after I joined this university I was happy to SEE the quality of education at LPU. I am a journalism and mass communication student and it was my first lecture in the university and I got to know that my professor has been a senior editor in the zee news, most of the professors are doctorate there. And to a surprise in the 2nd semester, I got a chance to learn from the senior editor and journalist of the Times of India. He is an amazing professor. Basically, LPU has really good quality teachers to teach you mentor you and guide you. Most of them are from IITs and NITs with PhDs. Well LPU is very much concerned about their exam and assignment, there are 3-4 assignments for each subject. And then LPU is also very much precise regarding attendance. 75 % is compulsory for sitting in exam even if your attendance in 74.9% they won't consider. LPU always invites prominent personalities for guest lectures regularly. Recently I got chance 3 lectures from the senior editor of press trust India (PTI) which a huge thing. There are many examples like this. Professors are there to help you at any time even students get doubt clearing classes. LPU believes in practical learning not just sticking to books so they conduct events related to analytical skills and knowledge boosting seminars for students. And believe me, those events are conducted by students because of this students get a chance to showcase their talents like anchoring, event management skills, etc. I can assure you that if you're in LPU you'll daily witness events and seminars going on in LPU. Plus lot of exposure in terms of knowledge, that's all from my side, I hope this helps you :). .

Hi, I am an alumnus of LPU. I have done BCA here. And the time spent at LPU was so good. LPU is best in terms of academics. They did a lot of hard work in classrooms the faculty are here so attentive and experienced they always push forward the students to study. They never say no when a student asks any question. But LPU is so strict towards the studies you have to study If you are at LPU. They make you study everybody will say you just go for class and study. Because if you are going to study then only you are going to pass at LPU their is short cut or other way cheating is almost impossible at LPU. They have tight security while exams. CCTV to security guards and invigilators. So that's why everyone here will say you to study and if you need study materials or Wi-Fi LPU does provide each and everything. They have great A+ infrastructure and from the central library, students can access millions of course books and reference books. Being an alumni I must say that LPU is remarkable in terms of academic excellence. Hello, LPU has maintained a great academic record over the years. It has faculty with sound educational background, teaching experience, research orientation, and industry exposure. The workshops and guest lectures that happen every now and then benefit the students. Also, students get the chance to do live projects at the university. Various opportunities for internships and industry immersion are also provided at LPU. Students also get placement mentoring which prepares them for the placement season. The university also has a Centre for Professional Enhancement (CPE) which helps the students in acquiring new skill Sets according to the ongoing industry demands. These students are able to get inputs based on aptitude, logical reasoning, soft skills, and verbal ability which is a part of the curriculum. Thanks.

I'm an alumnus of LPU and my ratings would be based on my personal experience. For academics, I would give it a 9. I am doing my graduation from LPU only and the way the entire curriculum is designed, students will get to develop both theoretical and practical skills. All the subjects in any discipline are taught in a manner that all the students are prepared for the real jobs out there. Studying isn't only about attending lectures and submitting projects but about what's required in the corporate world. It is because of the live projects, the curriculum, and the training and internships that I was able to learn well about my chosen discipline and the kind of jobs there are in the market. Now let's talk about the faculty; the professors and lecturers are all experienced and have exceptional teaching skills. They are extremely helpful and are ready to help and support you even beyond the classes as well. The professors are friendly as well which makes them approachable. From time to time, there are guest lectures where industry experts impart industry-specific knowledge which is quite helpful. The teachers actually try their best to make you learn. They even prepare you for the placement drives. I would rate them 9/10. And now, let's get to the most important part, placements. Here I would rate it 10. The placement drives at LPU are successful and extremely efficient. Big brands such as Apple, Amazon, Air Vistara, Intel, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc. Hire students during the placement drives. The packages and stipends for internships offered are great. I won't be quoting numbers here, but many of my friends were offered rewarding pay packages during the placement drive. Of course, the academic track record will play an important role here. The student with good academic performance will always have better chances of getting selected in a good company at a good pay package. If you are thinking of taking admission to LPU, rest assured, you will be giving your career a head start. No matter what discipline you choose, LPU will be offering you plenty of support and opportunities to have a great career. I hope this helps Thanks!

Being an ALumni of LPU I would say LPU has it all and it tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result based education. Few of the major highlights are : 1. The LPU infrastructure is quite vast and enough to support all types of practical like the ones needed for agriculture, physical education etc. The lush lawns are very inviting. 2. LPU has all the necessary accreditation. 3. The faculty is not only experienced but is updated with the latest learning by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too. 3.Industry immersion can be seen as there are seminars and workshops held by the industry experts and the alumni, so that the students can get a fair idea of the market trends. 4.The labs are well equipped with the latest technology. The main library is a nine story building and is well equipped, besides this there are libraries in each block. 5.Placement preparation starts right from the beginning and the placement and career department is one of the largest and best in India. 6.LPU gives impetus to aid research and offers financial aids too for propelling research. 7. The School of Professional Enhancement gives the necessary analytical, logical skills and soft skills to polish the student to the core to make him placement ready.Even mock placement drives are held. 8. The MNCs have recruited many students to top notch positions. A student of Agriculture got a whooping offer of 1cr from a US firm, B.Tech CSE student got 42LPA from Microsoft. About 650 companies visit LPU for recruitment in the LPU campus. It has won many accolades and is even awarded the National Employability 2020 award for Best Placements. This year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants. More than 90% are MNCs and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session . 9. The covid regulations are strictly followed and the student teacher ratio is enough to practice social distancing. 10. NIRF ranking LPU received recently is also quite good: Overall 99 University 78 Engineering 87 Pharmacy 29 Management 49 All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
