How is LPU in terms of placements?

LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. The astonishing companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Samsung, HDFC bank, Colgate, and many more visit every year for on campus drives and hire many students.

Actually, it primarily depends on the stream you are pursuing. For example, here at LPU, you will notice that there are much more placements opportunities for important streams like CSE. But rest get less importance. But overall I will say placement is a bit better than the average.

As far as I know and experienced, LPU has the best placements in the country. I have seen many of my seniors friends getting placed in MNCs like Amazon, cognizant, Flipkart, Adobe, and various others. Every year 500+ companies visit LPU. I guess LPU has become favorite place for giants companies. Because why not? LPU was ranked 11th Best University in Placements all over the country. And One of the top social media networks LinkedIn has also preferred LPU students as Campus Editors. Corporations like Tech Mahindra, Amazon, and Capgemini alone have recruited more than 100 students last year. The successful and shining placement stories of LPU students are another reason why many students, from far-off Indian states and other countries, are increasingly preferring admission at LPU. Besides this, I know some recent placements of LPU which are really good. I read that 11 students got placed on amazon with CTC up to 30LPA. Similarly, 8 LPU students are now interning with one of the world's the largest semiconductor manufacturers, Infineon, with a CTC of up to 13.75 LPA. Then 5 LPU students bagged packages up to 20 LPA at PlaySimple. Similarly, There are uncountable examples like these in the present time itself, when the pandemic has snatched the jobs of many people but LPU students are getting placed.

Dear Rishabh, The placements are exemplary. Im a pass-out myself and Im placed in a decent company, while some of my friends are placed abroad, too. Industrial exposure is offered through in-house training programs. The university organizes many external workshops for us. The package provided by on-campus jobs is also satisfactory. University environment is pretty decent with high-tech security. They also organize regular interactive one-on-one sessions with experts where we can discuss our views and share our doubts and problems. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. Being a alumni of LPU I would like share my experience in Lovely Professional university. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India programme. The most Common and important thing which is usually being asked for every college or university. I have spent 4 years in LPU and yes of course I have been placed in good company with the handsome package. Honestly saying LPU has a great role in this. When I joined LPU I was not good at speaking, presenting but LPU gave me all required inputs through PEP classes and Soft Skill Classes which actually groomed me. LPU has separate department of career services which help students in every step. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to the placements of the students. LPU is conferred with National Employability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for most Employable Students and one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employability rates. LPU is ranked 10th Best Training and Placements Institutions in India for 2019 by The Knowledge Review. Business Today ranked LPU among the Top 100 Private State Universities in the Placement Performance Category.
