Hi,CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters.Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is upgraded with industry inputs.Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum.Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations.Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc.Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities.Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented.Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Curriculum: The curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since IT/CSE is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi.
Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven; the tech programme must have the exposure and training. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. are a must for any professional to succeed in a career.
Industry interface: Ultimately, it's the industry that will immerse the students in the placements; the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits, and internships are a must-have in any tech programme.
Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days; personality, ethics, virtuousness, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc., are given high importance. The programme must include the training or modules on all these.
Diversity: As the world shrink into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross-cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college helps enable the students to develop the right sensibilities for such work atmosphere.
Entrepreneurship: Even though most of the students go for jobs, exposure to entrepreneurship is required. A Campus-To Fall in LOVE with !!! LPU campus is spread over 700+ acres. I get to know when I visited to enroll myself .
It has all the facilities in one campus, let it be the hospital, shopping mall, hotel, banks, ATM machines campus is one of the safest campuses maintained by over 400 full-time security professionals, most of whom are experienced ex-military personnel.
