How is LPU to pursue B.Tech CSE? I have got mixed reviews about this college.

Aakash !Always choose the institute that along with good education provides you a platform to improve your ideas and provide an stage to bring your innovative ideas into practice. this year IT giants CTS set a record for selecting highest number of student from this university.you can compare the ranking and can find that Lovely Professional University is among the best schools.Moreover have heard that Lovely Professional University is doing exceptionally good in this discipline.this university is having a tie-ups with more than 50 + countries which provides an excellent platform to get international exposure.its ranking ,recognization ,placements ,infrastructure -names it among best universities of this country. good luck

LPU is a good university,good placement,good infrastructure and one more thing any university is good becoz his faculty is good. I think you should go with LPU.

Dear Aakash, I am really happy that you got CSE through LPU NEST as it is one of the most demanding programme and very difficult to get admission to CSE at LPU as competition is very high. I have done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. The Computer Science programme is offered by numerous Universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because I had completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced.
