Here at BHU all Science students pursuing their first year Masters are accommodated in the same hostel. I had conversations with Physics students here and they say, the teaching techniques are fine, practicals are carried out well. Some also say that a few teachers are not that good. About the marking scheme they say, it is easy to score here. The average result of first semester is around 7.5 SGPA. BHU also offers specialisation in 6 fields, namely
Space Physics
Nuclear Physics
Solid State
Electronics
Bio Physics
Spectroscopy.
