Dear Kanishka, Both Lovely Professional University and Thapar University are good private universities and doing well in the education sector, I have completed my MBA from LPU. So, being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things-

Placement: Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU for placements. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. A candidate seeking admission in LPU Admission Office is required to take an entrance exam called LPUNEST (PhD) which is not applicable for candidates who have valid exemption criteria such as UGC NET/JRF, CSIR NET/JRF, GATE, GPAT, or M.Phil. (regular mode). These candidates are directly appearing for the interview. Admission selection is based on 70% entrance test and 30% performance in the interview.
