Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing MCA I do have my friends who are pursuing the same. LPU's School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCOM. Students from all across India and 15 plus countries around the globe are expertly mentored by an experienced and proficient team of faculty members. Students have an instant access to the latest technology labs like iMac, SAP, etc. That keeps them updated with the ever-changing technologies. MCA students developed a Home Security System which was displayed during Project Expo. The security system featured an alarm and also a security alert on the users mobile. LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Curriculum is equipped with 21st century digital technologies for game designing, animations and web development. There were many Trainings, projects and guest lectures collaborated with industries help to learn from real life situations. LPU will encourage students to have maximum industrial exposure through visits for problem identification and emerging technologies. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. MCA students will get ample of opportunities of placements. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2020-2021 for campus placements like Google, Amazon, Tech Mahendra, CTS, Adobe, etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc. Through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB interviews.

Hi Vaibhavi, Once you become a student of LPU, off course it is hard work but LPU also owe you to provide you the placements in every possible way. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services (team of about 40 person) and faculty/staff from parent School. Did you know, many outside agencies have also ranked us high on placements)
