There are many girls who have done mechanical engineering. But due to mind set less girls choose mechanical engineering. But career wise you won't have any difficulty as a girl only during your third semester and 4th semester we have some labs wherein you have to do certain minimum physical work as a part of learning, which won't be that difficult. Many girls have done. Once you are done with your education you may look for a job in design or analysis. Most girl choose the same. But many girls are also working in production industry etc. My sister has completed B.Tech Mechanical from Lovely Professional University, LPU is helping her g

The mechanical engineering is one of the fields that involved pushing limits both psychologically and physically, it involves field work that will drain the physical strength as well as the mental will of a person and that is why it is hard to work as a mechanical engineer if you are a girl. Choosing where to study, and to which university you should go, is one of the most important decisions you will make. For Mechanical Engineering, I will suggest you to choose Geeta University. GU gives the student a unique opportunity to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a few specializations in it:

I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

Plus, with all the collab

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition. With regular industrial visits, workshops, and
