How is NIT-Agartala for mechanical branch?

NIT-Agartala is very good among all other NITs. Mechanical branch is very good here. There are good placements for mechanical students and in this NIT, they have a good teaching methodology. -

6 years ago- Placement wise mechanical and CS are the safest branch of NIT Agartala. If you are good you will surely land up multiple offers with many companies. You will have an opportunity to sit for prestigious companies like Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Motors, Maruti, Ashok Leyland, Fiat, Tata Technologies, L&T and many more. Do not depend solely on professors, be your own teacher and gain training experience, attend workshops, get good internships.
