How is NIT-Silchar for electrical engineering? Is it a good NIT in terms of faculty, infrastructure and placements?

ThIs 15th NIT was established in 1967 as REC and got converted to NIT in 2002. It has good faculty and an equally good record of the placements. My advice is not to worry and take admission here if you are getting it.
