    Always remember, your placement is on basis of two things:
    1. How much you have learned from your degree and how much you can apply in the realtime situations in your job.
    2. The initial platform which is provided by a college of high repute. In this case LPU
    Normally int the placements for Agriculture students, LPU takes the cake. Last year in a first for Agriculture institutions across the country, Kavita Faman a LPU student secured a package of INR 1 CRORE with a food processing international major Monsanto LLc.

    In terms of Agriculture Discipline - Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana and Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar comes to mind. My friend has done Undergraduate course in  Agriculture which is ICAR accrediated from Lovely Professional University.

    BSc Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate course. It primarily focuses on research and practices in agricultural science, dealing with disciplines like Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology etc. It is a professional degree recognised by the Government of India .

    The highest placement in BSc AG in LPU was 23 LPA and the average salary was 3.3 LPA. The placement record for B.Sc. Agriculture students at LPU are good, and the university has a strong network of corporate partners.
    The placement of BSc agriculture graduates in India is good. According to a report by the All India Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR),  the average placement of BSc agriculture graduates is around 80%. The highest placement is in the government sector, followed by the private sector.
