How is Punjab Agricultural University campus?

<p>Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is a state agricultural university located in Ludhiana district of Punjab, India.&nbsp;The main campus of the university covers an area of 1510 acres, while the regional research stations cover a total of 4615 acres. The campus is situated on the Ludhiana - Ferozepur Road and is well connected by road and rail links. The university was established in 1962 to serve the state of erstwhile Punjab and was inaugurated by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Prime Minister of India on July 8, 1963. PAU was declared the Best Agricultural University in India in 1995 because of its outstanding achievements in agricultural research, education, and extension. The university offers various courses in agriculture, biotechnology, food science, and technology, among others. The university also holds a two-day main fair event where farmers from not only Punjab but also from neighboring states such as Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, etc.etera travel to PAU campus to buy high-quality seeds, farm equipment, and gain knowledge on new agricultural technologies.
