Punjab technical university is good and some depends on in which college you are taking admission , some college are good under this university which you can get good placement assistance. Degree from PTU is approved under UGC so you can get admission without any doubt -
Ashwani, the name of the university just helps in getting you an Interview call, if other things matches the requirement. Thereafter it is your skill to get the job. Sometimes when you are from highly reputed institute then you are even asked harder questions in the interview to test your knowledge. PTU is quite reputed in Northern India.
