With an acceptance rate of almost 9.5%, students need to have a top profile to secure admission. For the class of 2025, more than 29,000 students applied and only 2800 were selected. Out of this, 26.7% are international students representing 150 nationalities. Rice University provides need-based financial aid to a limited number of international first-year applicants. International applicants need to submit a USD 75 nonrefundable application fee while applying to Rice University. The university is selective when it comes to admissions.
