How is RIIM for MBA? How are its placements?

RIIM is by far the best College in Pune for both MBA and PGDM as far as Placements and ROI are concerned. Along with its MBA programme they provide 500 hours of Employability programme which includes Communication and Skill development classes, IT skill development, Aptitude test training, Industry Visits, Live projects, SIP, student committee etc., 2 weeks of residential Management Development Programmes followed by a certification and 8 plus extra certification courses like SAP, SIX SIGMA, DIGITAL MARKETING, X CULTURE, Advance Excel, World Innovation Alliance, Business Analytics etc. Average Placement package or RIIM is around 6 Lacs per annum, the highest gone upto 16.5 Lacs and minimum 4 Lacs per annum. More than 200 companies visits RIIM every year for the campus placement drive. RIIM 's unique pedagogy ensures more practical training and exposure to the students rather than focusing more on Classroom lectures.

RIIM gives 2 internships opportunities to students i. e summer and winter internships and live projects which help students in the corporate world. Conducting various corporate sessions give students the opportunity to interact with the CEO, CFO, etc. This campus is more of a student driven so you get an opportunity to work closely on the various things like branding, sponsorship generation, corporate connections building and follow up which involves a lot of resources and information. RIIM Pune celebrates diversity with regard to sector offerings with students getting an opportunity to choose a profile from a variety of Organizations across the diverse sectors. Placement Process is conducted by top companies from diverse sectors like financial services, banking, insurance, consumer durables, FMCG, retail, commerce, manufacturing, BFSI, IT & ITES, etc. The Average Package offered here is 5.5-6.5 LPA & the highest of 14 LPA. In terms of ROI, this is the best in the city. They provide really good exposure to the students such as 20+ industrial visits, corporate sessions, Managerial communication sessions, personality development workshops, visit to NSE (National stock exchange), and MDP Certification from IIM Indore etc. The Certification Courses like Digital Marketing, SAP, Six Sigma, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, these all are also very helpful for the recent market scenario. Hi, RIIM is an average B-school to pursue MBA in Pune. Go for it, only if you have no other better choice left. The average package offered is around Rs. 4 LPA.
