    The marks of RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam is calculated based on the total marks. Normalisation of marks are done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. There are also negative marking in the exam.

    Yes, there is a negative marking in the RRB NTPC exam. 1/3 of the marks are deducted for wrong answers. For the correct answer, candidates score one mark. The total marks of the exam are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers.

    How to Calculate RRB NTPC Scores

    For every correct answer, candidates receive one mark.

    For every incorrect answer, a penalty of 0.25 marks is applied.

    The total score is determined by subtracting the penalty for wrong answers from the total marks obtained for correct answers.
