  • The raw score of RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam is computed as below:

    • Total questions - 100
    • No of questions ignored (question wrong, multiple options correct, etc.): 2
    • No of questions attempted: 60
    • No of questions attempted correctly: 54
    • No. of wrongly answers: 6
    • Positive marks: 54
    • Negative marks: 2
    • Net score: 54-2=52
    • Score out of 100: (52/98)*100= 53.06
    • Raw score= 53.06

The raw score is different for different candidates.

Yes, there is a negative marking in the RRB NTPC exam. 1/3 of the marks are deducted for wrong answers. For the correct answer, candidates score one mark. The total marks of the exam are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers.

How to Calculate RRB NTPC Scores

For every correct answer, candidates receive one mark.

For every incorrect answer, a penalty of 0.25 marks is applied.

The total score is determined by subtracting the penalty for wrong answers from the total marks obtained for correct answers.
