How is School of Engineering and Technology NIU for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in terms of placements?

<p>Although it provides a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at Noida International University (NIU) has a mediocre placement record for core mechanical roles. The majority of placements take place in mid sized businesses that offer entry level jobs in production, design and manufacturing. The typical compensation package falls between 3 to 4 LPA; greater amounts are uncommon and frequently rely on internships and individual skills.<br><br>Many students are placed in non-core industries like operations, sales and information technology, even while key mechanical businesses do visit the campus. Students are encouraged to participate in internships, certification programs and projects in fields such as automation, CAD and robotics to improve their placement chances. Although NIU has good facilities it takes personal work to get better placement prospects.</p>
