How is seat allotment done in KCET counselling?

<p>KEA assigns seats based on the decisions made by the candidates during the counseling process. Upon completion of the mock allocation, candidates have the opportunity to modify their selection. Candidates will have three alternatives following the KCET seat allocation results: freeze, float, and side. By paying the seat acceptance fee and obtaining the seat allotment slip, candidates who are happy with their seats can validate their assigned seats. The authority offers two rounds of therapy as part of KCET counseling in addition to an extended and a special round. First, the system will be updated with information about all the colleges and branches, as well as the amount of seats that are reserved or available in each category. Second, the system operates in a rank-wise manner during counseling.</p>

Applicants have to complete the choice filling and locking after a successful registration. Candidates have to fill preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of choice filling of KCET counselling 2025. KEA allots seats during the counselling process as per the choices filled by the candidates. After mock allotment, candidates are given chance to change their choice preference. After seat allotment results of KCET, candidates will be provided three options of freeze float and side.</span><span data-ccp-pros="a; {">&nbsp;</span></p>
