Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat is considered as a well-regarded institution for students to pursue a BTech degree in India. The Institute is nationally recognised and hence holds a special recognition in India. It offers a well structured and qualitative curriculum with good placements.

The Institute focuses on practical as well as theoretical learning. Faculty is reputed and well experienced. However, compared to other older IITs, SVNIT can be considered as slightly less prestigious but it has emerged as a great choice for students.

The average package that the SVNIT BTech students secured in 2020, 2021 and 2022 are INR 13.32 LPA, INR 14.18 LPA and INR 15.22 LPA respectively. And the total tuition fee for BTech at SVNIT is INR 5 lakh. Considering the total tuition fee and the package secured this seems like a good return on investment. For job placements, companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Mastercard, Capgemini, JP Morgan, Airtel, L&T, and many more come to the campus.
