It is a decent option for MBA in operations with good placements and a good brand name. It also depends on the other colleges options you have. Overall, SIOM is a good Institute -
SIOM is one of the premium institutes for operations. It will have a decent placement scenario . but you can't expect all the major companies to come for the placements . The course structure and the exposure you will gain during the MBA is worth it . The campus is really beautiful with extravagant infrastructure.
