How is telecommunication engineering? How is it different from ECE?

My cbse percentage is 70.2 and I would prefer studying in Bangalore. my comedk rank is 19914

    Hi Harshita, Telecommunication is almost same as ECE up to six semesters. Few subjects change in last 2 semesters. E&C has more takers than Telecommunication when it comes to campus placements & with your rank you might not get you Top Bangalore colleges either for E&C or Telecom, so if you have to go for a middle level college, go with E&C.
    This is my opinion, please research more on it & take advice from your peers too. Wish you all the very best.

    Telecommunication is a good branch.Telecommunications includes voice, video, and Internet communications services. Employment will grow because technological advances will expand the range of services offered.
    On the other hand Electronics engineering, or electronic engineering, is an engineering discipline which utilizes non-linear and active electrical components (such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits) to design electronic circuits, devices and systems
