How is the atmosphere in LPU?

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is the largest and best private university in India, which offers a diverse range of courses. LPU offers Diploma, UG, PG, and Integrated courses in various streams such as engineering, management, hotel management, architecture, agriculture, education, pharmaceutical sciences, performing arts, fine arts, arts and humanities, design etc. The courses offered by LPU are divided into different categories, and students are free to choose courses as per their qualification and requirement. The LPU courses are majorly divided into Programmes after Class 10, Programmes after Class 12, Lateral Entry Courses, Programmes after Graduation (UG) and Programmes after Post Graduation (PG). Students at LPU are not only confined to classroom teaching. The curriculum of various courses is designed in a way to inculcate theoretical and practical knowledge to students. Students of all the courses at LPU have greater chances of securing a job in campus placements. LPU offers great placement assistance to students of all the courses, and it is one of the major reasons for LPU emerging as the best private university in India. LPU is India's the fastest developing university. Why I am saying this there is a reason if you SEE the development of the university since the establishment till now that is from 2006 till the present date. University has developed so vastly that now the strength of the courses is 200+ the strength of the students is 35000+. The academic environment of the campus; be its classroom teaching, teaching pedagogy adopted by the faculty, infrastructure, security of students and staff as well, central library, and the like. The campus believes in the holistic development of the students; be it academically or extracurricular or co-curricular. LPU also provide scholarships to the students on previous qualification or performance in sports and/or cultural and also on defense. Can honestly say, the best thing is the students accommodation. All the hostels are well built with all facilities and managed security.

University has a lovely atmosphere in terms of infrastructure, facilities, students, culture and is completely Professional in terms of Learning and Teaching. The academic environment of the campus; be its classroom teaching, teaching pedagogy adopted by the faculty, infrastructure, security of students and staff as well, central library, and the like. The campus believes in the holistic development of the students; be it academically or extracurricular or co-curricular. LPU also provide scholarships to the students on previous qualification or performance in sports and/or cultural and also on defense. LPU is India's the fastest developing university. Why I am saying this there is a reason if you SEE the development of the university since the establishment till now that is from 2006 till the present date. All the hostels are well built with all facilities and managed security. Campus security is hi-tech along with 5000+ CCTV cameras which are 24*7 monitored by the guards for our safety. There are diverse options from shopping to dining to sweets to coffee shops all facilities are available within the campus. The university has its own 8 story shopping mall which has every possible store which a student needs for his convenience including CCD, in-house bowling complex, food kiosks, a hospital, and many more. LPU has Best Lifestyle and College Life. You will find lot of things to enjoy apart from the education. LPU campus is well planned and advanced in terms of facilities and technologies. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. You will find the students and staff from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from every ethnic & religious background. There is strong system for attendance, education and examination. You have to follow the timetable for your classes and maintain the good percentage in attendance. UMS is the best and main toll actually that is centralized one system for all Academic operations. Almost everything is online in the campus. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. The university mall features diverse dining options, ranging from traditional Indian sweets to modern coffee shops.

The atmosphere at LPU is that of vibrancy ! There are events all round the year, placement drives all through the year, some or the other projects, internships, consultancies, industry interactions, hackathons, sports meets etc. All these things keep on going along with the rigors of the programs. Apart from studies you have large number of student organisations, clubs and community projects to join. Overall the atmosphere is charged all 24 hours as there is movement all through the day! Lovely Professional University, though a relatively new university which got an independent university status as late as 2006, is one of the fastest growing universities in India, with unparalleled infrastructure and a very diverse study environment. The university management is one of the best in India, so much that IIM Bangalore has a case study of LPU Management in their curriculum. Funding for start-ups, projects (quality ones) is also in abudance. There are 11 North Indian mess, 2 south Indian mess, 1 International mess with world class food served is the most hygienic way. TECH SAVVY FACULTIES In our university, attendance, assignments, lecture notes, text books, fee payment and everything is online. We get notes uploaded to our UMS accounts, and submit assignments (scanned copies) online INFRASTRUCTURE Our college is so tech savvy, starting from our daily class attendance to time table, everything is online. Even if I Have to exit my hostel or enter my Mess, I have to use finger print scanners and pass RFID (Radio Frequency Identity) turnstile gates. We don't carry cash, our ID card is like 2-in-1 debit card for transactions inside the university. We have 24x7 WiFi facilities for unlimited surfing, and a strict student monitoring system which gives monthly updates to parents about student performance. We have a 6-floor library, 10 department libraries, Shopping Mall, Fire Station, Night Club, Coffee shops,1 Star Hotel all inside the 900 acre campus. LPU has best lab facilities with dedicated lab for each subject. Each stream has dedicated laboratory division with fully functional world class equipments, and advanced research laboratories. A central library spread over 6 floors, with lakhs of books and resources. Students can read and issues books on weekly basis and the make full use of the facility. PLACEMENT TRAINING Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interviewing skills right from the 2nd year, continuously for 1-1.5 years till they get job. JOB OFFERS Almost 98% of students who have above 6CGPA in engineering get placed in any reputed company. On an average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 3.33lpa to 30 LPA based on the students' skill.

There are different events that are organized every year in the university like ONE INDIA, ONE WORLD that provides enjoyable atmosphere and knowledge to the students. You will get a lot of practical exposure in the university.

Well! Atmosphere is too good at LPU, filled with lush green fields, lots of greenery,and high rise buildings. But, what supports its good atmosphere, the most, is its discipline. University is against any type of indecent activities, proxy, rough behaviour, or any other type of misconduct.

The atmosphere is good, filled with lush green fields and high rise buildings. In LPU, you will meet students from different states and countries. You can enjoy without any trouble. Till now, there is no case of ragging.

Dear Deeksha, The atmosphere in LPU is safe, amazing, and calm for both boys and girls. There are beautiful gardens and spots where you can hang out with your friends, and there are lots of food courts around the campus that serve hygienic and healthy food. The campus is a plastic-free, ragging free and secured place. So overall LPU gives you amazing vibes to enjoy, the university provides various activities, clubs in different areas where your interest perks up! Campus life of LPU is really happening for all the students. , it's the Home away from Home. The campus is completely safe & secured, 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances. There are CCTV surveillance 24X7 from every corner. Since many of my known get graduated from Lovely Professional University so I must say this is not just a University. Lovely Professional University campus is one of the finest campus in India & rightly said as others "like a city within a city".
