How is the campus life at LPU?

LPU is not the only a university, it's like a city, then you need not stay outside. It is like a home away from home. Everything is available on the campus and safe for you. The LPU hostels are more convenient, and staying outside the campus is not safe. As LPU is itself a mini town in its periphery. Students do not need to pass the gates of LPU for any essentials, you just name the thing and it is available inside the LPU campus only. Safety Concerns : The whole campus means every nook is Covered with CCTV cameras. Outsiders are not allowed to enter the University campus without a GATE pass. In fact, the staff who does not have RFIDs of their conveyance are not allowed to enter without the GATE pass. Girls are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents are taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards, and CCTVs so no loopholes where they can sneak from. Girls have to enter their specific hostels in the particular time duration of 7 pm, they cannot escape from hostels as boys are allowed to roam the university till 9 pm maximum. Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs of time and will be accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Girls are handled by the women security guards only. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden and regular checks are done to make sure such activities do not happen in the university. Any offensive ACT is not at all appreciated inside the campus and results in strict actions being taken against such action by the University. The hostels at LPU are basically of two types: 1. Standard Rooms: Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. 2. Apartments: The apartment accommodation at LPU are 1/ 2/3/ 4 rooms with attached washrooms. There are facilities constructed for providing luxurious accommodation. The apartment has a common kitchen area, dining and lobby area. Some other features of Apartments at LPU are given below Wooden Box B.Ed Plastic Chair, Study Table, Almirah, AC, Geyser, Iron B.Ed Plastic Chair, Study Table, Almirah, Geyser, AC/Air Cooler (As Applicable). .

Veer, Lovely Professional University is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Not only this, but the university has also set up high tech lab.s for the benefit of students. The university provides scholarships based on entrance test/ your marks in 12th and study/ education loan assistance to the students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2016-2017 for campus placements like Google, Amazon, Tech Mahendra, Flipkart, CTS, Adobe, etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc. through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB Interviews. Most of the companies have made us the regional hubs for joint campuses The curriculum incorporates specific courses (subjects) under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes (PEP) in which the students are prepared to crack the placement processes. Apart from studies, students in Lovely Professional University have a wonderful time. LPU is like a city within a city, with mall, restaurants, gaming points inside the campus for the recreation of students. Being a alumni of LPU, I am eligible to answer your query, Since LPU has this very BIG Campus So, the girls hostels are at the beginning of the Campus and ends in between the Campus and from there starts the Boys Hostel and ends at the end of the Campus and So, you will get a choice to choose your hostel near to your block. When I first entered LPU I was feeling fascinated by looking at the infrastructure of the Campus and on the other hand I was also feeling very nervous about my life at Campus Hostel but trust me I shouldnt have been because I had an awesome Hostel Life, Made so many friends, created so many memories, learned from many experiences, etc.

LPU is located in approximately 600 + acres, so it is a very big college and you can't visit to whole college in 4 years of your B- Tech.

Well I must say that it is the most happening campus. LPUs Student population makes it really strenuous to describe a typical Student and their quintessential Students experience. Students come from all 28 States and from about 50 Countries; from Cities, Suburbs, small Towns; from numerous ethnic &amp; religious background and from across the economic spectrum. Life at LPU is certainly beyond textbooks and examinations. The Division of Student Welfare at LPU is committed to offering a comprehensive range of sporting and recreational programmes that cater to all students regardless of their age and background. The Sports and Cultural activities exist at both recreational and competitive levels, ensuring the participation of LPU teams in local, regional and national competitions. Beating the notion that students essentially need to make shopping plans after their day at college, LPU gives them the option of strolling around from their classrooms to the Mall located in the Campus itself having a fully fledged prerequisites of a shopping complex known as Student Academic Resource Centre or university MALL, where Students can now shop, hangout and relish some wonderful eateries. The Student Academic Resource Centre is a step towards nurturing the entrepreneurial talents of the Students. It acts as a start-up incubation centre and also a one-step hub for all the daily requirements and amusement for them. As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE. LPU has the sate of art infrastructure Sprawling across in 600 acres land, which accommodates 25000+ students from across the world. Targeting to enriching the students experience throughout their stay at LPU, the university has embraced facilities such as dedicated research and development blocks, a university-mall, state of the art laboratories, and smart classrooms. LPU's infrastructure is unparalleled to any of the universities in the India. It is a mini township with fantastic academic facilities with numerous eateries including brands like Dominos and Cafe Coffee day, India's first IMAC lab, inside mall, university- hospital and various other facilities for students from different nation sand states. Though south students are away from their home, they can still enjoy their native cuisine as there are numerous south Indian food mess are available inside the campus.

LPU college life is everything you need to enjoy your academic life.
