Hello Sandeep, LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. At the same time, if you prefer focusing only on studies, that's also possible—many students maintain a disciplined routine around classes, labs, and projects. I am an alumnus of LPU and I feel it was the right decision to join this institute. I was placed at Accenture, a reputed MNC. There are many factors that make it worthy to join. Some of them are- Campus Without a doubt, it's a beautiful place for education with a serene environment. The university campus spreads over 600 acres in boundary on the outskirts of Jalandhar and houses over 30,000 students. The campus has all the facilities a student can ask for, be it Food Canteens, Gym and Parks. Courses LPU offers a lot of courses B.Tech , MBA, Hotel Management and LL.B are some of the popular courses. When students of so many streams interact with each other it helps in expanding the mind not only in the course the student is currently pursuing but also in other courses. Faculty Most of the faculty members are from IIT, IIIT,NIT, IIM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad). They have a decade of experience. The faculty is really helpful. They even help students after regular university hours. In every section, they have 4060 Students which helps teachers to focus on each student. Placements On average, more than 600 companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus recruitment of students from LPU. LPU provides placements to the maximum, it has record-breaking placements in MBA approximately 98% of students got placed in top companies in the year 2020. Moreover, CSE students were placed in top companies, with a package of INR 42 LPA in Microsoft, it was highlighted in the newspaper and in news. In CSE, the placement record is almost 100%. Dear Sandeep, Being alumni of LPU, I can answer this question. When I first entered LPU I was feeling fascinated by looking at the infrastructure of the Campus and on the other hand, I was also feeling very nervous about my life at Campus Hostel but trust me I shouldnt have been because I had an awesome Hostel Life, Made so many friends, created so many memories, learned from many experiences, etc. All facilitates are provided at the Campus Hostel and youll have the complete choice to choose the accommodation that suits you and your budget. Zero Ragging/ Zero Discrimination: Nobody is ragged at LPU, This word actually doesnt exist here. There is complete secularism in the LPU hostel life as you will find seniors and juniors treated similarly at the Campus and even at the Hostel. So, there is no division among the students as per their academic year like other campus hostels. Students from the various ends of the country/ neighboring countries come and join LPU and lives in the same Hostel without any discrimination. Food/ Mess: Honestly I wont lie about the mess at the campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like a mess. If you're one of them very good and if not then fab you're in my gang so, you dont have to worry at all about the food at LPU because there are like 358+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food from continental to south Indian and that too at very mediocre rates. Some days if you dont feel like going out you can even order at Dominoes, go to CCD, Mall, etc Food is not at all a problem at LPU. Outdoor Games/ Indoor Games/Gym: There are so many places at Campus for outdoor games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlors) where youll have to pay to play. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. in which they are placed.
