How is the campus placement and faculty for aerospace engineering?

Aerospace is a specialized branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering. The course also focuses on new technologies in aviation, defense systems, and space exploration.Certifications from industries, Hackathons and workshops, Guest lectures, Regular educational trips, Real life live projects, Community projects, etc. all are essential and integral part of the curriculum. Besides core curricula, youll also get subjects like communication, verbal, analytical skills and soft skills to improve personality and employability and be more productive.

Well , it is good. But the institute matters a lot for placements There have been more than 60 MNC's which have recruited Engineering students from Chandigarh University, IITs and NIT's where there have been 40+ MNC's who have commonly recruited fresh talent from University School of Business at Chandigarh University and IIMs. Apart from it, some of the leading multinationals which regularly recruit CU students include Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Hitachi, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grail Research, TAFE, John Deere, Schindler, Deepak Nitrate, Mindtree, The Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, Vistara and Jet Airways.

Aerospace Engineering at Chandigarh University is really Good. The department developed a lot and has more to do and explore with the lab facilities available. It's a place where teachers always ask to do something new besides learning about aerospace. These new outcomes from the pupils of the departments result in Review Papers, Research Papers, and Patents. And indeed Aerospace Department holds a good rate of filing patents and publishing papers in its Bachelor course only! It's a place where you can feel that passion for doing aerospace, as your ideas are always welcomed first! And there are a lot more Advantages of the foreign university tie-ups for the aerospace only. With a NAAC A+ graded institute and a very high rate of development, one can catch the heights of the sky and space.

Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from top-ranked universities all over the world such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc. Faculty gives you proper knowledge about your queries no matter how many time you ask. Placement: Companies like Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, CEAT, Rallis India, etc. visit LPU for recruitment purposes. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the. The highest package offered to B. tech student that is Rs.64 LPA from GOOGLE. More than that LPU support the student Entrepreneurs through seed funding. Dear Hari Krishan, I am sure IIT Madras would have good placements for aerospace engineering. But being alumni of LPU, I would like to share the placements of LPU with you. Companies like Every year more than 550 companies visit LPU for placement purposes. Companies like Ashok Leyland, Bosch, and Siemens Home Appliances, Volkswagon, Unominda, Voltas, Anglo-Eastern Ship Mgt., Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, VA tech Wabag, Thermax, Bristlecone, Tex Fasteners, GigaSolar, Westline Shipping, Raam Group, Nylocore Transmissions. The first batch started in 2016 with a class of 27 students, out of which 19 have registered for placements and 8 students decided to go for higher studies. Out of 19 students, 13 are placed (70% Placed) and still there are many placement drives to happen till the month of July to secure more than 100% Placement by offering dual offer letters to some students. (Also, provides on job training and internships with the same mentioned companies). 31 LPA by CODE NATION (PLACEMENT DURING PANDEMIC) Now if we talk about the professors, all are highly experienced. LPU has experienced, specialized, and well-qualified faculty members. Some of the faculty members are from IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIMs, etc. Faculties are highly qualified, most of the faculties have done their Ph.D. and others are pursuing, They have at least a minimum of 5 years of experience and enough amount of knowledge, both theoretical and practical knowledge. They are cooperative and whenever you need their help they are ready to help you out. Professors of LPU are renowned for their friendly nature. They bring their passion and enthusiasm for teaching into the classroom providing an intimate, interactive, personalized approach to learning The faculty members are invited by the International Universities for the seminars and conferences of international level. Research papers are published by the Faculty members. Faculty are involved in research and Patents are filed by the different faculty departments also. The faculty recruited by the university are only either experienced or alumni of NIT's or IIT's, IIMs Teaching mode in English, thus students who come from across India will be comfortable. The future of aerospace engineering is very bright. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, USA predicts that employment for aerospace engineers is projected to grow at a rate of 5 percent, resulting in an estimated additional 4,000 jobs by 2024. Also, India aims to become the third-largest aviation market by 2026. The placements of aerospace engineering in Chandigarh University is very good. Aerospace Engineers are generally appointed as Consultants, Thermal Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Aerospace Technologist, Aircraft Production Manager, Assistant Technical Officers, Aerospace Design Checker and Graduate Engineer Trainees. An Aerospace Engineer can work in both private or public companies. The degree holders are acquired by many big firms both in India and abroad. In Chandigarh university, every year various national and international companies visit Chandigarh University for campus placements.

Aerospace engineering in LPU is a course that is designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. are an integral part of the curriculum. So far the companies that have visited the campus in 2021 are CODE NATION CHEGG INDIA PVT LTD DATAMARK INCORPORATED CAPGEMINI INDIA PVT. LTD. COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS DELHIVERY INTELLIPAAT AAKASH EDU TECH PRIVATE LIMITED DXC TECHNOLOGY GIRNAR SOFT DECATHLON SPORTS INDIA PRIVATE. LIMITED. MORLING GLOBAL (P) LTD GOLDMAN SACHS INDIA SECURITIES PVT LTD The highest package offered was 31LPA by Code Nation. Aerospace engineering has the worst placement records. Only 5-10 people have got placements from college and more than 5 were placed in IT jobs. The highest package offered maybe of 7 lacs as far as I know. Not more than 20 percent got internships from the college last year.
