    The teaching profession requires expertise in subject, experience as year of teaching and higher degrees to grow in terms of salary and stature. Post graduation, followed by doctorate will lead you up to Professor post. As a professor, post of HOD, membership of various educational societies, conducting examinations, organizing events like Seminars, workshop and excellence center etc are some key works which will progress one's carrier. But to become Principal/Director, you require administrative experience. To become Vice Chancellor, you require to guide minimum two Ph.D., write a book and publish a good number of International papers
