Aerospace is a specialised branch of engineering which deals with the design and development of aircraft's as well as space crafts. The course curriculum covers aspects of two branches of engineering - Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering. Aeronautical and Astronautical engineering are two fields of engineering that are covered in depth in this course. New technologies in aviation, defense systems, and space exploration are also covered in the course. Lovely Professional Institution is India's the largest and most prestigious private university. The learning environment at LPU is fantastic. It is consistently regarded as India's best private engineering college. Students are very engaged in the field of vehicle research and activities, thanks to the department and university's supervision. In October of 2015, I hosted the SAE Efficycle event. Dear Devanshu, The scope of Aerospace Engineering both in India and overseas is very bright. This field is very aspirational for many and most students look upon it as a dream career. India is ranked as the third-the largest in the civil aviation sector. Reputed and big names like Boeing and Airbus are keen to set up in India. After successful completion of this course, numerous job opportunities open up both in India and abroad. India's prestigious space agency ISRO ranks no 5 in the world and has established a record of launching the maximum number of satellites in a single mission. Research plays a vital role at ISRO, based on which it has successfully launched the Chandrayaan 2 to the moon and Mangalyaan to Mars. It operates on a budget of more than 1.5 billion dollars. This promising space agency has lined up the launch of many rockets, missiles, satellites, etc. In the near future and is well poised to move up in its international ranking. Aerospace Engineering overseas is a highly paid job. The starting package can be $70,000-1,00,000 per annum. Numerous job opportunities are available in the aviation industry, airlines, and the Government. My cousin's sister is pursuing B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering at LPU itself and she is in the final year now. She told me that recently 3 students from aerospace engineering won gold at the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition, 2021.
