The CGPA is calculated on a scale of 10. The grades and their corresponding grade points are as follows:
    A+ - 10
    A - 9
    B+ - 8
    B - 7
    C - 6
    P - 5
    F - 0
Here, A+ is the highest grade and F is the lowest grade. To calculate the CGPA, the following formula is used:
CGPA = (Total grade points earned in all the courses) / (Total credits of all the courses)
For example, let's say a student has earned the following grades and credits in a semester:
    Course 1 - A+ (4 credits)
    Course 2 - A (3 credits)
    Course 3 - B+ (2 credits)
    Course 4 - B (3 credits)
The total grade points earned by the student would be calculated as follows:
    Course 1 - 4 x 10 = 40
    Course 2 - 3 x
