How is the closing rank calculated: on the basis of 12th science or JEE or both?

    Rank is usually based on marks obtained in JEE Mains according to marks. Marks order is Maths then Physics and then Chemistry.

    Last year, rules were changed. Now, rank depend on JEE score.
