How is the Counselling process of IIIT Hyderabad done? I am also Appearing for JEE Advance 2019 and applications for IIITH has been started.

So, If I apply for IIITH Counselling and in case I want to take Admission in IIT's then the Fees I have paid in the Counselling process will go in Vain. Also, I have achieved 99.81 Percentile and most probably I think I could get CSE in round 1 or 2 of IIITH, then can I wait for JoSAA counselling?

    Hi dear,
    1. For admission to M.Tech, MS, Ph.D. and M.Phil in Computational Linguistics, the institute conducts IIITH PGEE.
    2. Admission to B.Tech and dual degree programs is done through JEE Main score, UGEE, DASA, and lateral entry to dual degree research programs in CSD/ECD.
    3. MSIT admission is based on the performance in Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT).
    4. Ph.D. admission is based on a written test followed by an interview.
    5. Direct admission in Ph.D. is also given to candidates with exceptional academic record.
    6. Admission for Ph.D. Spring Session is currently open. For more details, check IIIT Hyderabad Admission 2019
