Dear Nomanjee, My sister has completed B. Design (Fashion) from LPU, LPU is helping her grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. Her experience at LPU was amazing, she has learnt a lot. She told me that Lovely Professional University is regarded as one of the Best Design colleges in India and Punjab, LPU School of Design offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. Students are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. Also students are exposed to fashion shows, craft fairs, industry internships and craft documentation. She got Intensive exposure to practical work in Pattern making, Draping, Weaving, Printing, Dyeing, Garment Construction labs. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colors. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. Her department organized Face Painting and nail painting competition for students to showcase their creative talents. Students are taken to educational tours to complement in-class learning. There is a huge opportunity to get placed in a good MNC through Lovely Professional University. Many placement drives are organised by the university to get more jobs for their students.
