    B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at GIET Engineering College consists of 4 years 8-semesters. The curriculum covers 60+ subjects, including:

    - Theory: 40 % ( Mathematics, Mechanics,Thermodynamics, Materials Science).

    - Practical: 30% (Component Fabrication – Workshop – Machine Shop – CAD/CAM)

    - Projects: 30% (Industry-oriented, research-based).

    Electives (6-8): Robotic Systems, Mechatronic Systems, Automobile Engineering.

    Total credits: 180

    Faculty-student ratio: 1:15

    Lab-to-student ratio: 1:10

    Placement rate: 85-90%

    Highest package: INR 12 lakhs per annum

    Average package: INR 4-6 lakhs per annum.

    B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is a well-crafted curriculum at GIET Engineering College. It is also well-balanced between the basics and advanced topics. Subject areas include, but are not limited to, Machine Design, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Instrumentation & Control Systems, among other things, and through which the students obtain a huge volume of theoretical as well as related practical knowledge in the field.
