KL University Hyderabad classifies BTech degrees based on students' CGPA and academic performance. Students who clear all required courses and meet graduation criteria receive classifications as follows: Pass Class for CGPA between 5.25 and 5.75, Second Class for CGPA between 5.75 and 6.75, and First Class for CGPA between 6.75 and 7.75. A CGPA of 7.75 or above earns First Class with Distinction, provided all courses were cleared on the first attempt within the minimum programme duration.
