How is the engineering campus of LPU especially for aerospace engineering?

Lovely Professional University is not a good university. The facilities and infrastructure is good, but education factor is less and the placement is not up to the mark.

Dear Anit, LPU is very good for an engineering programme. If I talk about the aerospace engineering programme, then it is also a good programme. The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), download live satellite images, and receive telemetry, Science/engineering data from nano-satellites and larger spacecraft. This course will provide the basic fundamental to analyze suitable professional level while learning the latest techniques, interpret and apply the expertise and knowledge learned in the course of the degree programme, integrate independent and original work of practical importance, develop and critically evaluate different solutions, understand the methods in the field of study and effectively implement that, develop a suitable professional level while learning the latest techniques. For industry immersion. The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), download live satellite images, and receive telemetry, Science/engineering data from nano-satellites and larger spacecrafts There are training electives, to enable students to develop specific training oriented towards practicality and hands-on exposure. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING This course will help in analyzing the suitable professional level while learning the latest techniques, interpret and apply the expertise and knowledge learned in the course of the degree programme, integrate independent and original work of practical importance, develop and critically evaluate different solutions, understand the methods in the field of study and effectively implement that, develop a suitable professional level while learning the latest techniques. INDUSTRY CO-OP PROJECT The programme comes with engineering minors too: AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SPACE ENGINEERING and pathway electives: ADVANCED AEROSPACE TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION Recently a team from Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab called Visionauts comprising seven B.Tech Mechanical Engineering final year students represented the university in the annual event held on April 12-13 at the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This marks the third consecutive year, a team from LPU has been selected by NASA for the competition. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. The course equips a student to be able to effectively build and communicate the solutions crafted using learnings from basic aerospace engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. He will have the ability to comprehend the problems and craft solutions in the field of Aerodynamics, Aerospace structure, Aerospace Vehicle design and propulsions. He will rightly apply the associated learning for the atmospheric Flight mechanics, JET And Rocket propulsions, Gas Dynamics, and Space Flight Mechanics for the solutions to real world problems. He would demonstrate the ability to propose cost effective optimized solutions for aerospace sector using simulated environment of Computer aided design, computer aided manufacturing and computer aided engineering. As per the NIRF ranking, LPU is ranked 66th among all government and private universities. As per the Times of India ranking LPU was at no 36. Placements: About 75% of the students are placed in this course. The highest package offered in the course is about 15 Lacs, the lowest package is 3-4 Lacs and the average package is 6-7 Lacs. IAAC 2021, one of the worlds the largest astronomy competitions, registered over 4,700 participants, 1,300 of whom made it to the pre-final and final rounds. Aerospace engineering is a good course, it will help you get good jobs. LPU is the best University for B.Tech course, and Lovely Professional University flagship course is B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering. Hi, Aerospace engineers develop new technologies for use in aviation, defense systems, and spacecraft. Aerospace engineering focuses on designing both aircraft and spacecraft and it is a study of all the space crafts used within and out of the earth's atmosphere while Aeronautical Engineering is the study of aircraft that operates within the earth's atmosphere. Many conferences, seminars, live projects, etc keep taking place for the benefit of the students. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies come for recruitment purpose. Most of the B.Tech students are placed in good companies with high packages.
