How is the entrance test for M.Sc. Computer Science at Delhi University?

Delhi University conducts an entrance exam for admission into its M.Sc. Computer Science programme. The entrance exam is held in online mode and comprises of 100 multiple choice questions. The questions are divided into four sections: 1. Mathematics (30 questions) - This section tests the knowledge of candidates in topics such as linear Algebra calculus, Probability and Statistics and discrete mathematics. 2. Computer Science (40 questions) - This section covers topics such as data structures, algorithms, programming languages, computer architecture, and operating systems. 3. Analytical ability and logical reasoning (10 questions) - This section tests the logical and analytical skills of candidates. 4. General awareness (20 questions) - This section covers Current Affairs social issues, and general knowledge topics. The duration of the exam is two hours and there is no negative marking for wrong answers. The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam and qualifying degree. Shortlisted candidates are called for a counseling session for final admission.
