How is the environment of LPU? Do they have any restrictions inside the campus?

The luxury apartments are good better than the regular hostels, facilities and privacy wise. But I would suggest living in regular hostels to make the most out of your experience there. Very few students opt for apartments as they are heavier on pocket. So, you may miss you on the discussions in the hostels, be it related to the academics or administration. And hostel is fun. :) During my stay there, power supply was never an issue. Non-veg food is not available keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the diverse cultures the students come from. A large number of Indians are strict vegans. Even touching or having food cooked in the vicinity of meat is prohibited according to some cultures in India. The Founders' family comes from one such culture. But you can most definitely go out of the campus and enjoy non vegetarian delicacies. The term power back is meant to specify that even if power supply from the regular sources is unavailable, they will make sure you don't have to suffer and have arrangements for that. And, I am afraid, no non vegetarian food is available for sale and consumption inside the campus. Even the cakes and pastries available are eggless.

I had a wonderful experience at LPU, It was a wonderful journey and I cherish those amazing five years throughout my life. Lovely Professional University is not just a University, it is a whole world in itself. It is the largest single-campus university in India. It provides the largest residential facility in the world. There are a lot of things to learn and people can actually get the right guidance and training to create a successful career pathway. Hostel- There are options from which you may choose your hostel room. Standard hostel rooms has some sharing options like 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater, 4 seater sharing etc. With a option of Air cooler or Air conditioned. Also, apartment facility is available if you need a spacious room, more like homely feeling. The seater you select as per that you need to pay and facilities you may avail accordingly. LPU is a place for every type of student who have different interests and liking. You will get a lot of opportunity in Lovely professional University. There are numerous activities to do depends upon one's choice and interests. Enjoy the co-curricular Events: Don't miss the opportunity to refresh yourself by attending the fun events in the evening especially in the month of August. University spends a lot for these kinds of events. Join a Student Organisation. It's about exposing yourself to something new every time and meeting new people you have an opportunity. There are endless options to choose from and whenever in a fix, go with the NSS or NCC for some community service. LPU provides you a wide platform to groom your personality. All you need to do is just participate in various programs/ events organized by the Division of student affairs.

Hi Anandh, Every campus have certain level of restriction where here there are several rules like hostel related, college related and PG related, behavior and many more if I shortly tell you then I can say that there are more than 50 rules which includes safety precaution to the ragging and all. Kindly, read it out before joining it.

I personally believe environment includes the surroundings which actually affect the mind set of an individual to achieve the desired task. On inquiring, I came to now that LPU has very BIG Campus which includes somewhere 57 blocks, girls hostels, boys hostels, Big Indoor Stadium, Two big Auditorium and more than 100+ Kiosks and one thing more I. e. you will get one big mall which is named as university-MALL where you will get everything from the toe to the top and yes you will find CCD, Dominos, Gym, Lovely Sweets and 3 Full Fledged working Banks with 6-7 ATMs in that Mall. Every year, mega events take place to show-case the dynamism in culture. In addition to this, LPU has one swimming pool which is as per the International Swimming standards. I came to know that LPU is floating all these options to the students at reduced fee who opt for residential facilities as the university also has the facility of residential for boys and girls within the premises and facilitates the following: 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater including B.Ed study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler and geyser. 4. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 5. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus. 6. 24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi. 7. There are general facilities such as :dedicated hotline and power backup for 24 hrs power supply at university campus. So, it is a place where you will get good academic, safe and secure environment. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc. To provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. Addressing to the query of strictness, LPU is very strict in terms of classes, assignments and there is no compromise on discipline in any case which sometimes brings discomfort to the students. I will advise you to book the seat at the earliest or maximum by 15-7-2020 Hope this helps.

The environment on campus is peaceful as well as enthusiastic. With daily events and functions going on in the largest private university (LPU), the aura of the university is one sight to SEE. I have an international friend on campus and he says that he loves the ambiance and liveliness of the campus and loves his time there. He's a bright mind who's developing and thriving in the great environment of LPU. With the freedom to achieve dreams come responsibilities too. 1. LPU has stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises 2. LPU has a Centralised Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. 3. The head of the security of the university is also under the retired Brigadier (Indian Army) ensuring strict compliance of law and regulation in the university. 4. Zero-tolerance Policy for Drugs, Ragging, Eve-teasing 5. There's free internet provided for you. 6. You must carry id card with you every time you want to enter or leave the hostel since it is bio-metric. 7. You can come to your room at any time you want. 24 hours check-in and checkout. But however, you must be inside the university before 8 pm (not in the hostel) THESE ARE SOME OF THE RULES IN LPU. You are free to grab any opportunity that comes your way and trust me in LPU, there are infinite opportunities that are going to come your way.

Well, I believe environment is one's own mindset not the things you observe rather the things you focus on. LPU has a good environment for the academic growth of the students. The numerous guest lectures and workshops that we get to attend are really helpful. Having a mixture of national and international students, campus life is really exciting here at LPU. I visit the mall with the students in my class almost every day. We also have a day fixed in a week wherein we go and try out the different cuisines offered in the food stalls. Here at LPU, you will find both young and experienced teachers. Being supportive and friendly overall, the teachers make classroom sessions a lot interesting. LPU also offer a well and good residential facility. The classrooms are not far from the hostel which is a great thing. The food is hygienic, the rooms feel like home and everything is so comfortable. One thing that I really like about LPU is the unending chance to participate in the different events and fests organised by the university. The last but definitely not the least point, the placements. The university provides plenty of opportunities to work in major corporations. One of my senior got an offer from Amazon recently. Companies like Adobe, SAP Labs, VMware, etc. Visit the campus for their placement drives. Many students of LPU are currently working with Microsoft and Google. LPU has broken several placement records in the previous years and continue to do so with more and more companies visiting the campus with each passing year. Hope you find it helpful.

UMS is the best and the main toll actually that is centralized one system for all Academic operations. Almost everything is online on the campus. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised, and well-qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Dear Anand, If you ever visit LPU you will SEE that it is an international standard university with an amazing infrastructure, facilities, and faculty members. The environment of LPU are good are many reasons:-Zero tolerance to Ragging, Alcohol, smoking, drug, and disciplinary Misconduct: These are strictly prohibited within the University CampusThe residential facility at the campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. Mess in the residential facility provides good quality, hygienic, nutritious mess and multi-cuisine menu served four times a dayStudents residing on University campus can avail the Library facility till late hours, Hostel rooms also include an iron B.Ed chair, table, geyser, air cooler/ air-conditioned There are so many of the best popular places nearby LPU I hope this helps Thanks!
