How is the faculty and infrastructure of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune for B.Arch?

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Est. in 1964 is one of the best colleges for higher education. College general ranking is 90 and university ranking is 54 By NIRF. The college has several campuses all over India for various department. Admission for the aspirants in B.Arch is done by the 50% weightage to NATA score and 50% weightage to class 12th qualifying marks. The college has 4 branches in Pune and among them, Katraj is the main campus. Katraj campus is spread over 85 acres of land in which 5 acres of land is for sports ground in which student play various type of game in their free time. The campus contains all the facilities which are required by the student. The college has in campus hostel and mess facilities. College also organizes various festival which attracts many companies so that they came for placement. Placement record in B.Arch is 83%. Many students got full time and part time job from this college. College is strongly connected with their alumni and it helps a student to gain feedback about the college and learn a lesson from them.

Hi, It's a good enough college. I say this in reference to colleges in my home state, which have pathetic education and absolutely no consideration for development of skills.most departments of architecture have adequate labs and equipments. The college was refurbished in 2013, so everything is in good condition. The placement scenario is better, as there are companies coming for each and every branch. If you have potential, you will get a good job in your branch.nIf not on campus, then off campus too, because of the strategic location of Pune.nNew opportunities are opening up every year, as the college is improving it's status. You will hear many rumors about that college from seniors, most of them will be negative, but don't trust anyone. I too had a similar experience at the admission time, but I met some really nice seniors who told me the truth and urged me to join because, it's PUNE. The city itself has so much to offer you. Also if you are into cultural activities like music and dance, you will love every day of yours here. The college is very actively involved in cultural activities round the year.overall I am having a nice time in my college. Do come and look for yourself and take decision of your branch very carefully.nI've received many calls from students and parents about the highest package, placement average package etc.nI would like to clarify the criteria of an average package. The average is calculated by taking into consideration the highest and the lowest packages too, therefore if one company had offered 11 LPA, And selected only 1 student, the average for that placement season goes automatically above 4.5 LPA.therefore it's ridiculous to choose college based solely on package. I'd advise a good career counseling from reputed persons, and not to go blindly into CS and IT branches everywhere because of Packages offered.secondly, nobody is clear about what they want to do in life for the next 40 years, kudos to our miserable education system. Therefore please choose the branch carefully.also, other careers exist too, which sadly people coming from small cities or rural areas won't even know, again because of our unawareness and failure of education system.
