How is the faculty and infrastructure of DIT University for B.Arch?

Dear Aspirant, I cannot tell you about the B.Arch programme at DIT University. But being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of this programme at LPU with you. My friend is pursuing the same course. The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for B.Arch is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 60% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics or Pass with 60% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government. (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying marks in NATA 2021 or JEE Main (Paper-II) (90 percentile or above) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by the statutory body for 2021-22). INNOVATIVE TEACHING Architecture Students During Experiential Learning Week-Architecture Students documented the buildings and learning from Live Case Examples during experiential learning week. Technical Exposure Through Regular Site Visits-Architecture Students paying regular site visits and gaining their knowledge on the latest construction techniques and implement them into their design projects. Fascinating Interaction At Working Abode Of The Master Architect-World Renowned Architect B. V. Doshi is one of the most important figures in South Indian Architecture. LPU Students got the chance to interact at his working abode in Sangath, Ahmedabad. Seminars and Guest Lectures: Seminars and guest lectures by experienced and professional architects are held frequently to enhance the knowledge of the students. World acclaimed architect Raj Real, Ar. PSN Rao, Ar. Sangeet Sharma and many others. Innovative Pedagogy: Emphasis on case studies and Case-based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios. <p>DIT University is indeed a good university to learn B.Arch programme. It can be seen from the various intra-college cultural programme, exhibition and workshops, that they always intended to groom their students and pointing them in the direction of attaining the success in their desired branch/stream of this field. The faculty of DIT University is also good, qualified, interactive and knowledgeable in their respective streams. However, if we talk about infrastructure, that is also at par. The building/campus is at the lap of nature in Dehradun. This adds beauty to it. The Architectural labs are always equipped with the essential elements. Their tools, scales, barometer are all set as per the industrial standards. So, learning B.Arch at DIT University is good and more practical to fulfill the companies&rsquo; demand. Hope this helps.
