How is the faculty and infrastructure of IIEST for B.Arch?

Hi,As the name is self-explanatory, India Institute of Engineering Science & Technology is one of the biggest and the oldest institution for doing engineering and architectural courses in India. The market value of IIEST is no less than Indian Institutes of Technology. So in the same way, the faculty members are also one of the best here. The professor (Mr. Mukherjee) is the founder of Tata Iron & Steel. Apart from it, there are a lot more teachers who have an excellent knowledge of the subject and having the good industrial experience to pass on the children. On the side of infrastructure, this is the best college. Its hostels (of boys and girls) are very good. The campus is at a great location with a good connectivity of public transports. And, the college is also Wi-Fi enabled to access all the study material for the students.

IIEST Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, West Bengal. Est. in 1856, the college has general college ranking is 73 and overall engineering ranking is 17. Gautam Biswas IIT Chairman), Rajen Mookerjee (Founder of Indian Iron and steel) are the notable alumni. Admission is done for B.Arch through the marks of JEE Mains Paper 2 or NATA. The campus is well furnished and healthy environment with full of all facilities for the students. IIEST Campus is a home of 3200 UG and PG students in 17 Hostel separately for boys and girls. 9 Hostels are for UG and PG boys and 3 hostels are there for girls. 5 halls for all the other purpose such as lunch. These halls contain all the basic equipment for indoor games. College contains practical labs in which students are free to do research and apply the lesson learned by them. The college has various ongoing research programme and completed many pieces of research successfully. College also organises festival 'Robodarshan' and other festivals as well. College works for overall development of the students. Faculty members of the college also help students in their development and help them to learn things easily.
