The Madurai Medical College is composed of 360 faculty members, 60 of which are professors, 120 associate professors, and 180 assistant professors. The student-faculty ratio is 1:5. The faculty members have the doctorate degrees-MD/MS/DM/MCh hailing from prestigious institute 80% of the faculty members are having teaching experience of more than five years among which 40 percentage have their research papers published in national/international journals.
