How is the hostel and food in LPU?

Opting hostel will optimize your time as campus is very big so it takes hours if your day scholar and attending the class. Hotel facility is pretty good, I am sure you will have some good time there.

Well, LPU provides the best hostel facility. There will be 24/7 CCTV maintenance with both male and female security guards patrolling. Hostels will be very nice and friendly environment. Mainly for girls hostels will be very clean. All the essential things for girls will be available in their hostel itself. When it comes to mess you may or may not like LPU hostel mess. But if you don't want to opt for LPU hostel mess there are canteens and food kiosks everywhere from where you can buy any type of food you want. If you are from South India then south Indian food will also be available inside LPU in food kiosks.

Hostel amenities are good. Hostels have Wi-Fi, WH Smith store, canteen, water cooler in every floor and block, and so forth. Food is okay, but not that good, and that is for every college hostel too.

LPU has the largest Residential Facility with full security and Safety. The hostel includes the services like WiFi, Departmental Stores, Attached Washroom, Laundry Service, Mess Facility, Hospital Facility, ATM etc. LPU has hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the Ac and Non AC.The fee structure of 4 Seater Standard Room NoN Ac is Rs.60,000 for the full Academic session. The Academic Session is of 10 months. The student can choose the Hostel as per his/her preference. Talking about the Hostel Food, the mess serves the 3 Meals and Evening snacks. The meals include breakfast, Lunch, Dinner . The mess serves the North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthani and many other Regional food. The student can choose the food as per his/her preference. The Food quality is very good. The breakfast include the Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea. The Lunch Include Dry Vegetable, Dal/any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati and Raita. I'd suggest you to opt for hostel facility. Lets talk about the pros and cons of opting hostel facility. Pros: Good food quality: Yes, I can say that the food quality is comparatively good. A verity of dairy products is also served along . Only vegetarian food is available in the campus (even the cakes available in the stores does not contain eggs). If you're a non-vegetarian, you'll have to visit restaurants outside the campus to get non-vegetarian food. Excellent campus security: I understand parents are quite concerned about the security of the place where they will be sending their most-loved daughter. Hostel WiFi: Who doesn't love a good WiFi connection available 24/7? However, they temporarily disable the internet connectivity in hostels from Monday to Friday between 10 am and 5 pm (class hours). The internet speed is limited to 50 KBps, however, you can always bypass login authentication using VPN in order to gain the maximum internet speed. Anytime library access: During the day, you can visit the library anytime you want. But during the night, they have a certain time they will take you to the library. Two security guards will take girls to the library at 8 pm and 10 pm. Yes, you read that right! Girls who want to visit the library are grouped together from all the girl-hostels and are taken to the library by two female security guards. In-campus hospital. Food kiosks: Moreover, there is 24/7 open WHSmith store available inside each hostel. Also, 24/7 open canteen is also available in the hostels. Other benefits: The weather is quite foggy during the winters, so youll find it quite easier to attend classes during the winters. Moreover, youll always be informed about whats going on inside the campus, like any extra-curricular activities etcetera. Hope this helps you.
