It is up to you that you like that or not, because in terms of food, no one will be ever satisfied and in terms of hostel. It is very good and well furnished with attach washroom so it is far better than any others. -
Opting hostel will optimize your time as campus is very big so it takes hours if your day scholar and attending the class. Hotel facility is pretty good, I am sure you will have some good time there.

Hostel amenities are good. Hostels have Wi-Fi, WH Smith store, canteen, water cooler in every floor and block, and so forth. Food is okay, but not that good, and that is for every college hostel too. -
They are good. Rest you can visit the campus and see all the facilities provided by yourself. -
Both are great if you ask me. Also, LPU has a huge number of food outlets as well and they too serve very good and hygienic food. You also have canteens in each hostel which are open till late in the night and they too have very good and hygienic food.
When choosing a hostel, you will have a lot of options whether you want to opt for AC or Cooler rooms or whether you want to have 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater rooms, etc. Also, good care is taken to ensure that cleanliness is always maintained. Rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week.

LPU has the largest Residential Facility with full security and Safety. The hostel includes the services like WiFi, Departmental Stores, Attached Washroom, Laundry Service, Mess Facility, Hospital Facility, ATM etc.
LPU has hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the Ac and Non AC.The fee structure of 4 Seater Standard Room NoN Ac is Rs.60,000 for the full Academic session. The Academic Session is of 10 months. The student can choose the Hostel as per his/her preference.

Pros:
Good food quality: Yes, I can say that the food quality is comparatively good. A verity of dairy products is also served along . Only vegetarian food is available in the campus (even the cakes available in the stores does not contain eggs). If you're a non-vegetarian, you'll have to visit restaurants outside the campus to get non-vegetarian food.
Excellent campus security: I understand parents are quite concerned about the security of the place where they will be sending their most-loved daughter.
