I am alumni of LPU and I have spent 5 years in the LPU hostel, I hope this will help you get a clear picture of the kind of life a hosteller leads at the Lovely Professional University. The campus of Lovely Professional University is great! There is everything you could possibly need on the campus itself. There are banks, salons, shopping malls, ATMs, etc. There are facilities to play sports like cricket, basketball and fun games like bowling, skating, snooker, etc. Coming to food, From North Indian to African to Chinese to Italian, all kinds of cuisines are available on the campus. The mess food is also decent. If you want to avoid junk food, mess food will keep you full and healthy. This University has a Centralised Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. Girls are handled by the women security guards only. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden and regular checks are done to make sure such activities do not happen in the university. Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs of time and will be accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. Hostelers (Girls) are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permission from parents is taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards, and CCTVs so no loopholes where they can sneak from. Girls have to enter their specific hostels in a specified time duration 7 pm, and they cannot come out of the hostels as boys are allowed to roam the university till night. NO OUTSIDERS is allowed in the university without a GATE pass. Hostel life in LPU is worth experiencing. This is the only thing I would like to add in the last. Some things just can't be explained in words. You have to experience them personally.

So they always check for Safe & Secured residential facility before taking the final decision for admission. This is applicable for both Boys & Girls. Being an alumni of LPU, I have seen that, security of Girls is taken care of in the highest controlled & strict way in Lovely Professional University.
1. Woman security guards are only there to take care of the Girls hostel.
2. Each & every hostels are free from illegal substances like tobacco, alcohol etc.

LPU university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. It is manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Our security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus.

Hostel and Campus life of LPU is really happening for all the students. , it's the Home away from Home. Campus is completely safe & secured, 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances.
