How is the HRA calculated in RRB Group D exam?

Indian Railways give HRA to the selected candidates depending on the job location. The HRA is calculated based on the category of cities employees are posted. The HRA is calculated in the following manner.
Category of City HRA (In INR) X (Population less than 50 lakh)
4320 (24 per cent)
Y (Population between 5 to 50 lakh)
2880 (16 per cent)
Z (Population more than 50 lakh)
1440 (8 per cent)
