How is the JKCET merit list drawn?

<p>The JKBOPEE shall prepare a list in order of inter-se merit of candidates in JKCET in descending order of the scores obtained by the candidates. In this way merit list will be prepared for the open merit category and similarly for each reserved category separately. In case two or more candidates have obtained the same number of marks in the entrance test, the merit of such candidates shall be determined by the method of tie-breaking. The merit list is used to allot seats in different participating colleges via the JKCET counselling process.</p>
