    Dear Jeevith, LPU is the best private university for the B.Tech in Civil Engineering. My friend did this programme from LPU itself. The highest package offered for the programme is 31 LPA. The following are the highlights of Civil engineering in LPU: -
    1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also.

According to the American Society of Civil Engineers, the scope of the profession is "the design and maintenance of public works such as roads, bridges, water and energy systems as well as public facilities like ports, railways and airports.     B.Tech in each field is perfect and especially in the context of civil engineering, the placements are good and the average package is 4 LPA and the highest can be upto 8 to 9 LPA.

    Good for civil and about placements, approximately 6 to 8 lakhs per annum and having good placements having in companies like Fluor Daniel, l&T, Ultra-Tech Cement etc.

    It's good but not the best. Placements are fine, some good companies do come with a good package but the average package is about 2 LPA.

    Civil Engineering at LPU does not really have good opportunities for placements. Other branches such as CSE have good placement records. Fewer companies visit for civil as a core job field. No matter they do provide internship as well as placements but relatively as compared with other branches, civil is a bit shallow.
