How is the mess food at IIIT Surat?

<p>This answer shall be focussing mainly on Mother Teresa Bhavan's menu, but generally I guess the menu of all hostels are same.</p><p>Breakfast menu:</p><p>Sunday: Dosa</p><p>Monday:Poha</p><p>Tuesday: Maggi/ Pasta/ Bhel</p><p>Wednesday: Idli sambhar/ vada sambhar/ dhokla and its variants</p><p>Thursday: sandwiches/ omlettes</p><p>Friday: paratha/ upma/ veg Frankie</p><p>Saturday: uttapam/ boiled eggs</p><p>Apart from this there's always option of bread with an option of brown and white, also toasted and not toasted. There's jam, sauce and butter.Cereals are available too daily. Milk ( coffee powder, turmeric) and tea.</p><p>Lunch menu:</p><p>Rotis are served hot with and without ghee according to our choices, curd, salad, dal and two choices of vegetable.</p><p>Generally potato, cauliflower, chana, rajma, lady's finger, cabbage, Tinda, carrots, beans, sprouts, paneer, etc.</p><p>Yeah alternative days in a week (MWF) they do serve dahi wadas, chilly pakoras, and dahi chat.</p><p>Saturday lunch is always special one with paneer and man's, with sweets and ice cream.</p><p>Dinner menu:</p><p>Monday: parathas ( aloo, paneer, methi)</p><p>Tuesday: pavbhaji</p><p>Wednesday: paneer</p><p>Thursday: manchurian and noodles</p><p>Friday: paneer/ potato</p><p>Saturday:brinjal bharta with Jowar roti.</p><p>Sunday: dal dhokli and eggcurry.</p><p>Cheers!</p>
