My friend is doing a Ph.D. at LPU and staying in the hostel. I have been visited him many times related to his research work and had food in the mess of LPU. I really loved the food of mess, it was like homemade food. Let me share what my friend told me about the mess and I experienced. More than 20000 students reside in the on-campus hostel and nearly &get;15000 avail food service. All the hostel have their own mess facilities. There are both Veg & Non-Veg mess facility available in Lovely Professional University. Multiple cuisines are available for the students of LPU as there are huge diversity of students available in LPU campus. For your information International cuisines are also available keeping in view that there are huge number of International students are available inside campus. Domestic cuisines are like North Indian / South Indian / Rajasthan / Haryanvi / Gujrati / Eastern / North-Eastern. There are following options available in LPU Mess :

First of all, my experience at LPU has been phenomenal. Honestly I won't lie about the mess at campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like mess. If your one of them very good and if not then fab your in my gang so, you don't have to worry at all for the food at LPU because there are like 358+ shops inside the campus providing all varieties of food from continental to south Indian and that too at very mediocre rates. LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
